In 2013, I decided to race the Tour Divide, a self supported mountain bike race from Banff Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico. The route follows the spine of the Rocky Mountains zig-zagging back and forth over the continental divide climbing some 200,000 feet covering 2800 miles. These posts have been a work in progress since I finished the race. I’ve enjoyed being able to take time to reflect on the journey. Maybe one day I’ll head back!
