My awesome wife, Andi managed to snap a couple photos as everyone was busily sorting out last minute details before the start of the 2012 Trans North Georgia mountain bike race (or adventure for most).  We met some really amazing people and I had a great time riding through the mountains of North Georgia!  Hopefully, I’ll be back next year!

All packed up and ready to roll out!  Only 330 miles and 56,000 feet of climbing lay ahead!
Adventure Awaits!
Anxiously awaiting the start
Sherry and Ardie Olson on the left.  Andi would later hang out with Sherry in the gas station parking lot at the finish for 4 hours waiting for us to finish.   Very inspiring people who have shared so many great adventures together.  Thanks for the support Sherry and great job Ardie!
I think this is Brett Davidson.  He gets the award for most suffering points and the Lantern Rouge!  Great job Brett!
Asheville Boys and 3rd place finishers!
I think this is Jim Rivers from Knoxville, TN.  I let him borrow my pump at the start and he let me tag along during the end of the first day.  Seems like a fair trade!  Thanks Jim!
